what i love about "uncoloured" or greige/white work is how it feels restful to the eyes even though once ou begin to look it can be quite complex. i always work in white, whether sewing or weaving or knitting, but then of course the leaves creep in and with them, colour. but in the lead up i have had the gentleness of the work.
